Each August, more than 600 Friends come together for worship, fellowship and seeking how God will guide us in meeting for business. Having met for more than 350 consecutive years, New England Yearly Meeting is the oldest yearly meeting in the Quaker world.
While this gathering is large — the second-largest Quaker gathering in North America — there are many opportunities to connect with Friends old and new: vibrant youth programs, adult small groups, variety shows, topical interest sessions and shared meals. In recent years, Sessions has featured plenary addresses, Bible Half-Hours and evening performances led by invited guests from across the Quaker world and beyond.
