Carole Rein, a member of North Shore Friends Meeting, will speak about her experience in Palestine. She returned from a trip to Israel and Palestine in January 2019 with a strong awareness of the inequities there and a calling to share her witness with others. She will share stories and images from her visits with the U.N. Humanitarian Council, refugees, Ramallah Friends School, and more, and discuss her perspective as an American Quaker committed to challenging white supremacy. A discussion will follow.
